In this second collaboration between the Met and Le Poisson Rouge, composer Nico Muhly curates and hosts an eclectic evening of music in anticipation of his opera Two Boys, premiering at the Met in October 2013. “This evening at LPR is going to be fun; we’re going to assemble a few singers from the show and a few people not involved in it at all. We’ll play things I love, things they love, things I’ve written, and things from the 17th century.” The lineup will include two selections from Two Boys and feature Met singers Paul Appleby, Isabel Leonard, and Jennifer Zetlan, joined by Muhly on the piano and Nadia Sirota on viola.
