Le Petit Mort/Now It's Time to Say Goodbye December 7, 2006

Inspired by the work of photographer Joel-Peter Witkin, 'Le Petit Mort' is strongly visual and experimental in nature, with a deep commitment to movement investigation. Bodies on stage are constantly in a fall, recovery or an intricate play with gravity and each other. Solos, duets and group dance sequences express loss, letting go and the compassionate resiliency of collecting ourselves in everyday life again and again. The result of this impressive collaboration is a live performance investigating themes of loss and death and how these can open horizons for hope and birth of the new.
