Sicilian percussionist Laura Inserra will perform compositions showcasing the hypnotic resonances of the Hang Drum, a Swiss instrument that evokes a delicate inner landscape of spaciousness and vitality.

"I have been playing the Hang since 2003 and from the beginning, I felt the uniqueness of this ineffable musical instrument. I continuously experience the unlimited potential of the Hang every time I play it, and I allow it to guide me in how it wants to be played. Through a deep listening, a space is opened for creativity and inspiration to arise and to take form.
My compositions with the Hang are mainly 'structured improvisations' that allow me to be present to inspirations from deep within my soul. This leaves the audience enthralled as they eagerly anticipate the next creative composition." - Laura Inserra
