The Laugh Your Asheville Off team brings Last Comic Standing finalist and Comedy Central's Chris Porter to Asheville for one night only Saturday April 11th at 8pm. The Laugh Your Asheville Off team knows how difficult the economy is so that's why their spring finale show at the Diana Wortham Theatre is economically and community friendly at $12. And better yet, Highland Brewing Company is the event sponsor and few things are better than laughter and beer. "It's heart-breaking to hear someone say they can’t attend because they don't have $25 for a show. When it comes down to it we make the people of Asheville laugh and for our spring season finale we don't want money to get in the way of that." says co-producer Charlie Gerencer Don’t think the reduced price show means half the comedy. Headlining comic Chris Porter is on his comedy central 1/2 hour special tour and has been selling out comedy clubs from N.Y. to L.A. Also, Joe Zimmerman is back from 40 days and 40 nights on the road, and the 2008 festivals “Stand Out Stand Up” TJ Young brings back his lovable presence and uniquely crafted observations on our world.
