Latino Comedy Night at Riot Act Comedy Club May 9, 2007

This is a follow up of the First Latino Comedy Show produced by Ricardo Villalba back in December 2006, and the First of the Spring/Summer Latino Comedy Showcase! Mark Viera, Sara Contreras and Ruperto Vanderpool are Top Latino Comedians from New York City performing at sold out shows all over the country!

Brooklyn comedian and writer Sara Contreras has a deliciously sassy act. Showing great pride in and a sense of humor about her Puerto Rican heritage, she won the Female Performer Award from the N.Y. Comedy Club Latino Laughter Comedy Awards.

Mark Viera is a Bronx native who like so many other kids of working parents grew up in front of the television Today, Mark's stage performances reflect his lighthearted, fun-loving approach to comedy and his ability to see humor in even the most ordinary situations. Whether riding on the train, playing on the playground or getting directions from his car's computerized mapping system, Mark sees the absurdity of life and is able to help his audiences see it too.

Comedian Ruperto Vanderpool has been into comedy his entire life. "Funny things always happened in my house, being that there were 8 of us." Growing up in the Bronx as the son of Dominican parents, Ruperto was exposed to a diverse array of cultures, which he incorporates into his stand-up routine.
