Latin Recording Artists to Perform at Outlets at Anthem November 20, 2011

Latin recording artists Fernando Aguilar, Danny ELB and El Parientito will perform and sign autographs during Latino Vibe Entertainment Day from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at Outlets at Anthem.
The free event, sponsored by 95.1 KVIB-FM Latino Vibe, is part of the Outlets at Anthem Christmas tree lighting weekend Nov. 18-20. The center’s 110-foot Christmas tree, America’s tallest, will be lit Nov. 19 and holiday entertainment and shopping discounts will be featured throughout the weekend.
KVIB deejay Octavio “El Parientito” Varela, will perform at noon. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, he first joined a Norteno band after moving to Phoenix. Early in his career, the third-generation musician became involved in music production which led to his involvement in the radio industry as well as a contract with Sony Latin Music to write and produce for several years. Following a concert performance, he was approached to join KVIB and can be heard from 8 p.m.-midnight weekdays.
R & B, rap and reggae artist Danny ELB performs at 1:30 p.m. Starting his career as a solo artist in 2007, ELB has had the opportunity to record with Pancho Barraza, Jr., and other famous singers in just a few short years. His latest album, scheduled for release in December 2011, features the single “Caminemos Juntos” which is already receiving hits on Youtube and social media.
From 3-4 p.m. regional Mexican artist Fernando Aguilar will take the stage performing songs from his most recent album including “La Ultima Copa” and “Es Que Contigo.” Aguilar was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and has been in the music industry for more than a decade. He performed professionally with a variety of bands in Mexico and the United States before pursuing a career as a solo artist.
In addition, fans can meet the performers and get autographs from 1-2 p.m. with El Parientito, from 2-3 p.m. with Aguilar and from 3-4 p.m. with ELB.
KVIB morning show deejay Erik el Manaero will spin tunes between performances.
