LATIN AMERICA 2007
MAKING ANOTHER WORLD POSSIBLE

It is forty years since the murder of Che Guevara in Bolivia. Today Che would see a very different continent emerging. From the southernmost tip of Patagonia to the Mexican-US border at the Rio Grande the continent is fighting back. Progressive forces are on the offensive and people are challenging the US imposed neoliberal policies that left a continent impoverished. In Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Bolivia, the Latin American Alternative for the Americas (ALBA) sees a new economic alliance making real positive changes to the lives of millions of people.

From the Bolivarian revolution in and Bolivia's popular democratic process to resistance in Colombia and Mexico. From Cuba's experience of socialism and the fight against the US blockade. From the struggles for the rights of indigenous peoples, to the struggle to finally control its own destiny - Latin America is changing.

The conference, LATIN AMERICA 2007, is open to all those wishing to find out about these exciting developments and support the peoples of Latin America in their struggles for self determination and social justice.
