Last Supper Drama April 21, 2011

This drama, based on Leonardo Da Vinci’s well-known painting, shows the disciples of Jesus Christ around the table after Jesus announces that one of them will betray him, to which the disciples talk about their association with Jesus Christ and ask, “Is it I?”.
To get to the West Des Moines United Methodist Church, take Interstate-235 to the 8th/73rd Street exit. Go south on 8th Street to Grand Avenue and turn left. Parking is available to the east and south of the church building.
This season marks the 42nd season for the drama, which is presented by the men of the West
Des Moines United Methodist Church. The drama has been presented over 200 venues around the state such as the Iowa State Center, as far away as Nashville, TN and even on television. About 20 individuals are involved with the presentation of the drama each year.
