Last Supper Drama April 9, 2011

This drama, based on Leonardo Da Vinci’s well-known painting, shows the disciples of Jesus Christ around the table after Jesus announces that one of them will betray him, to which the disciples talk about their association with Jesus Christ and ask, “Is it I?”.
To get to Trinity Lutheran Church from US 30, take the highway to the Iowa 14 (S. Center Street) exit. Go north on S. Center to South Street and turn east. Turn north on S. 3rd Avenue. Trinity Lutheran Church is at the corner of S. 3rd and W. High.
This season marks the 42nd season for the drama, which is presented by the men of the West
Des Moines United Church. The drama has been presented over 200 venues around the state such as the Iowa State Center, as far away as Nashville, TN and even on television. About 20 individuals are involved with the presentation of the drama each year.
