Last Supper Drama March 13, 2011

Make your Lenten observance more meaningful by attending a performance of the Last Supper Drama, as presented by the men of the West Des Moines United Methodist Church at Cross Point United Methodist Church, at Bondurant-Farrar Middle School, 300 Garfield Street SW, in Bondurant at 9 a.m. on March 13.
This drama, based on Leonardo Da Vinci’s well-known painting, shows the disciples of Jesus Christ around the table after Jesus announces that one of them will betray him, to which the disciples talk about their association with Jesus Christ and ask, “Is it I?”.
To get to Bondurant-Farrar Middle School from Interstate-80, go north on US 65 to Grant Street. Go north on Grant Street to 3rd Street SW and turn west. The school is located at 300 Garfield Street, SW.
This season marks the 42nd season for the drama, which is presented by the men of the West
Des Moines United Church. The drama has been presented over 200 venues around the state such as the Iowa State Center, as far away as Nashville, TN and even on television. About 20 individuals are involved with the presentation of the drama each year.
