'Las quiero a las dos' (I Love Them Both) or 'Los Japoneses no esperan' (The Japanese Don't Wait) is a classic love triangle which presents the struggle between society's expectations for relationships and our individual desires. It's a domestic farce about the eagerness to achieve happiness and satisfaction even if it's through situations that defy the standards. In the play, the husband is packing his bags to leave with his lover under the pretext of going on a business trip. His wife knows the truth, locks them up in their apartment and waits for the lover to show up. When the lover arrives, the women fight for the husband with peculiar and sometimes bizarre tactics. In the end the wife desires the lover's freedoms and the lover longs for the stability of the wife's life.
