Las Olas Wine and Food Festival April 29, 2011

The 16th Annual Las Olas Wine and Food Festival presented by Tequila Herradura, Bombay Sapphire® Gin, and Premier Beverage Company benefiting the American Lung Association in Florida is scheduled to held on Friday April, 29, 2011. Friday, April 29th the World Famous Street Festival takes place from 7:30p.m. – 10:00p.m. on Las Olas Boulevard, the most popular street in downtown Fort Lauderdale, known for its fabulous restaurants, trendy shops, and energetic nightlife.

The Street Festival boasts over sixty (60) restaurants! The exceptional food will be paired with “Wine from Around the World” courtesy of Premier Beverage Company. Patrons will enjoy popular varietals and experiment with the newest and hottest grapes emerging onto the market. With over 40 tables to sample from, each table will offer a variety of labels and winery representatives will be on hand to offer advice, tips and answer any questions.

The crowd-pleasing Bombay Sapphire Lounge is back and will be located at 9th Ave. The street will be grooving with live music from South Florida's hottest band The WEEDLINE and of course bringing his power and sophistication of the pan to Las Olas Blvd. will be none other than the master & legendary Pan Vibes.

The exclusive Tequila Herradura VIP Reception in partnership with JM Lexus (a sell-out every year) will be held on the Riverside Hotel lawn (located on 8th Ave.) from 6:00p.m. – 7:30p.m. The VIP Lounge will be open the entire festival for VIP ticket holders only. All VIP patrons will receive a complimentary glass and VIP gift bag which contains a bottle of wine. The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Fashion Design Department will be doing their Culinary Couture Fashion Show.
