Cain Schulte Contemporary Art features the US debut solo show of Berlin artist Lars Theuerkauff, a series paintings of individual men that reference the anonymity of the internet, Gustav Corbet's "L'Origine du Monde", and other subjects. Lars' technique is unique, using acrylic on linen, but not a traditional brush. Instead his technique of spattering paint using various tools creates a pointillist effect that from a distance appears to be photorealistic.

Opening reception with the artist on Friday, January 28, from 5:30 to 7:30. The artist will also talk about his work, his motivations, and his techniques at 2:30 on Saturday February 5.
