Lark & Spur began in Europe as a duo of street performers featuring Jeff Whiteley on guitar and vocals and Lori Decker, providing traffic stopping vocals, and playing the mandolin. Now based in Utah, they perform most often as an acoustic quartet or quintet, including guitars, mandolin, percussion, woodwinds, double bass and vocals. Their sound consists of "vocals over a beautiful weave of guitars and woodwinds." The repertoire is varied, ranging from jazz, Latin, pop, Christmas songs to even French folk songs of the middle ages.
