Wordsmiths Books continues our support of local authors and publishers by teaming up with Sandy Springs-based cutting-edge Mercury Retrograde Press to launch Shorn, the first novel from Larissa N. Niec.

Shorn is a riveting tale of oppression and resilience, the consequences of vengeance, and the malleable nature of truth. The author, Larissa N. Niec, is a clinical child psychologist. She lives in Michigan, where she teaches at Central Michigan University and directs a clinic for young children with emotional and behavioral problems. She has a number of non-fiction publications in the areas of child abuse and child development. Shorn is her first novel.
