Larisa Stow & Shakti Tribe are a World Rock Fusion Revolution. Their live performances are a mix of English and Sanskrit with a little bit of rap & funk for spice--seamlessly blending the ancient east with an undeniable rock groove from the west...the result is a magic carpet ride for the soul. The have graced the stage of many festivals in the US and abroad, been the opening act for many world renowned artists, and appeared with spiritual leaders like Deepak Chopra.
Kirtan (call and response music) blurs the line between performer adn audience member and is designed to create a transcendant experience. Many songs are sung in the ancient eastern language Sanskrit...Shakti Tribe also sings many songs in English.
