LAP-BAND Surgery Informational Seminars are held at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in the assembly room. Who Qualifies for LAP-BAND System Surgery? - Patients with BMI 40 - Patients with BMI 35-40 with comorbidities (high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, reflux or sleep apnea) - Patients between 18-65 Seminars last approximately one hour.
