Phyllis will demonstrate how to capture the beauty of Roxborough's buildings, landscape, and foliage using charcoal & ink. Reservations required for this class. MATERIALS LIST: piece of white pastel or shite chalk; gray drawing paper or manila drawing paper, or gray construction paper; piece of corrugated cardboard or drawing board plus masking tape; few sheets of newspaper "classified Ads"; charcoal: one piece of stick charcoal; perhaps one stick of vine charcoal (if you don't have it, don't buy it); black sharpie perm. marker fine point; black "Higgins" perm. drawing ink; few ordinary sticks (find them in your yard); one round brush any size; water container; paper towels; spray fixative or can of unscented hairspray; lunch and drinking water; chair or "sit up"
