Land Steward Volunteer Project Day January 26, 2011

Volunteer to assist the Parks Natural Areas Division / Jefferson Memorial Forest Land Steward team with conservation and preservation activities. This group meets weekly on Wednesday mornings, 8:30 am to approximately noon. Activities include invasive plant removal; replantings; erosion repair; learning to distinquish native from non-native plants; special plant location, ID and mapping. Appropriate for ages 14 and up.
