Larry Ten Pas recalls his spring 2010 canoe trip on the Spanish River, NW of Sudbury, Ontario. The 93-mile trip was covered in 8 days. Paddling through the area once famous for its heavy logging of Jack Pine and now famous as the world's largest red and white pine wilderness, the river and its tributaries have been preserved as a Provincial Park and has become a haven for canoeists. Larry will share the logistics of the trip from Duke Lake to Agnew Lodge in order to help others enjoy this magnificent landscape. Pre-registration requested.
