The play deals with the suffering and loss of unwilling victims of a war that is born out of the mistrust between people separated by barriers of language, culture and ethnicity.Despite the play having been created out of our calling to speak about the Sri Lankan Civil War, the themes that it deals with are universal and parallels could easily be drawn to other armed clashes elsewhere in the world
