Rockin’ Block Party
Lakewood’s Heritage Center hosts a retro day of fun and entertainment with a Rockin’ Block Party, a FREE community event honoring Lakewood's heritage and its dedicated residents on Saturday, June 12 at Lakewood’s Heritage Center, 801 S. Yarrow St. (Wadsworth Blvd. and Ohio Ave.)
The Heritage Center Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with FREE self-guided tours of the Visitor Center and museum. Lakewood's Heritage Center showcases the culture and history of Lakewood in the 20th century with more than 10 historic structures, thousands of artifacts, a festival area and an outdoor amphitheater.
From 2 to 4 p.m., the whole family will enjoy playing classic block-party games including dominoes, card games, badminton, croquet and hula hoops.
Wear your penny loafers and poodle skirts for the FREE rockin’ tribute to the hits of the 1950s. At 5 p.m., the 17th Avenue Allstars Band performs at the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater.
The 17th Avenue Allstars are celebrating 20 years as one of Denver’s top musical acts, singing contemporary a cappella. The Allstars have performed across the United States and have opened for BB King, The Temptations, Mel Torme, and Robert Cray.

Concert Reminders
• There is no structured seating available; feel free to bring your own chair or blanket.
• To facilitate viewing by all patrons, a limited seating area will be available for chairs with the top of the back of the chair measuring more than 32 inches from the ground or chairs with legs measuring over 5 inches.
• No pets, glass containers or bicycles allowed in the concert area.
• Programs subject to change.
