Laguna Art Museum Book Sale August 5, 2010

On August 5, 2010 during Laguna Beach's First Thursdays ArtWalk, Laguna Art Museum will host a book sale benefiting the Museum's library.

The sale will feature lightly-used or never read art books and exhibition catalogs for 50% or more below Amazon.com's prices. More than 100 books are for sale featuring individual artists; art of European, Asian, and American origin; and many museum exhibition catalogs. Curator and author Nancy Moure has donated several brand new copies of her book California Art: 450 Years of Painting and Other Media (pictured left) which sells on Amazon.com for over $70.00, but will be available at the book sale for only $25.00.

The sale will take place from 6:00-8:30 p.m. in the Museum lobby, and all proceeds will benefit the Museum Library which houses one of the largest collections of California art books.
