Lagnaa, a one-of-a-kind bistro on Upper Dickson Road in Little India, is a welcome refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city... as you are invited to take off your shoes, sit on the floor, and enjoy the restaurant's 'Western Masala' cuisine.
For those who are not really into doing it on the floor without your shoes on, the restaurant's ground floor offers a delightful alternative with the usual seating arrangement we are all so used to. The graffiti wall on the ground floor is something to behold. Come see for yourself....!
Owner and Chef Kaesavan (K7) who oversees every aspect of the restaurant from music to menu says: "At Lagnaa we invite you to bare your feet and feed your soul."
Lagnaa can seat a maximum of 35 guests creating the atmosphere of a dinner party at home. It is ideal for small parties where the guests want to linger over great food cooked and served at a measured pace.
The cuisine at LAGNAA, is the expression of the surrounding... and the best of Indian food.
COME AND BE DELIGHTED....!!
Lagnaa boasts an extensive menu that spans North and South Indian cuisines with the Chef's own Western and Regional twists. Only the finest ingredients are used to ensure an authentic taste to please the seasoned tongue as well as those who yearn to taste Indian food as it should be.
No short cuts. Some dishes, like the famous Dum Biryani, are cooked on slow fire over a long time as that's how the authentic flavours are infused. Though such preparations require longer time and advance notice, nothing is rushed.
You will find North Indian Tandoori delights like Naan (bread) and oven-roasted meat dishes. If you are a fan of Singapore's very own Fish Head Curry, you will be in for a feast.
Are you a vegetarian, or a fusion enthusiast? Give us a call and check out the menu. Or simply ask if your favourite dish could be prepared by our Chef especially for you or someone special.
No compromise... only a promise of great dining experience...!!
