Lag b'Omer Festival
Lag b'Omer, the eighteenth day of the Hebrew month of Iyar and the 33rd day of the Omer period (between Passover and Shavuot) is the Jewish spring fire festival. It marks the death date of Shimon bar Yochai (a mystic of the talmudic era), the end of a plague, and the falling of the manna for the first time.
