Ladies Day Out December 1, 2012

It’s that time of year again… Girlfriends helping girlfriends! We at Garland Nursery, warmly invite you and all of the ladies dear to your heart to our annual Ladies Day Out! Join us as we help you pamper yourself only as fellow girlfriends know how while supporting an amazing cause. Once again, for Ladies Day Out, 10% of all purchases (excluding food and wine) will be donated to the wonderful Contours program located within the Samaritan Cancer Resource Center and part of the Albany General Hospital Foundation.

We’ve packed the day with delights, shopping, tasty treats, wine, demos and raffles! Start off the day right with a little pampering from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with wonderful 5 minute massages by Julie Hawley of Albany Massage Center. Then we have a little shopping (10 a.m. to noon) with Bogs Boot “Trunk Show”. For an extra sweet deal, order from the catalog, prepay and receive a 20% discount! At 10:30 a.m. we have a great FREE demo “Terrariums to Troughs: Gardening in Small Spaces”. This is a very timely demo with the upcoming winter months. The future always is great when you’re surrounded with girlfriends, but it’s so much more fun to have confirmation. We have palm reading from 11 a.m. to 3p.m. ($5 for 5 minutes/ $10 for 10 minutes) Our fabulous lunch is catered by the amazing lovino’s Catering and is served at noon. $15 each and RSVP for lunch by Tuesday November 27th at (541) 753-6601. To compliment the wonderful lunch and great company we will have local wines available between noon and 3 p.m., $5 a glass. We have Debbie Dupuis of The Ritz Sisters joining us from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. with a fun hands-on demo on scarf tying. Bring a scarf with you or purchase one from our beautiful selection here. Finish off the day by bringing something home for the holidays you made yourself. Join us at 2:30 p.m. for our “Greens Arrangement” class. Create a beautiful holiday arrangement in your choice of either moss shoe or moss purse, $20 per arrangement. Throughout the day we will be having food samplings from our Holiday Market, special savings and fun raffles! Take some time for yourself and the ladies in your life during this holiday season, as you bring love and support to others in your community!
