The Films of Abderrahmane Sissako. Film is recommended for mature audiences. A moderated discussion follows screening of film:

(Mali, 1998, 61 mins., in French and Bambara with English subtitles) Sissako's fictional documentary about daily life in Sokolo, his father's village in Mali near the southern corner of Mauritania, is his response to an assignment to make a film about the last day of the 20th century.
