‘La Sierra’ is an unflinching portrait of daily life in one of Colombia’s toughest and most violent barrios.

More than 30,000 people have been killed over the last ten years in Colombia's bloody civil conflict. Shot over a year and with remarkable access to three young gang members whose lives are defined by casual violence, ‘La Sierra’ examines life in the barrios, from shoot-outs between rival gangs to intimate moments of love, pain, joy and death.
