Old Hollywood and the Desert Club will portray one of La Quinta's most famous landmarks, the Desert Club, from its opening in the 1930's to its eventual demise in the 1980's. The exhibit will feature memorabilia from the Desert Club, home movies of the stars from famed entertainer Ken Murray's private collection, and architectural renderings of the club, made by S. Charles Lee, renowned Hollywood architect and designer of the Desert Club.
