[Singapore, October 2010] Be one of the privileged eight in Southeast Asia to taste the exceptionally rare Mortlach 70 Year Old - the world's oldest bottled Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Released under Gordon & MacPhail’s ‘Generations’ brand and bottled at cask strength - 46.1% Alcohol By Volume (ABV), there are only fifty-four (54) 70cl bottles and hundred and sixty-two (162) 20cl bottles in the world, but only one (1) of each will be brought to Southeast Asia.

Proudly presented in Singapore by La Maison du Whisky, Mortlach 70 Year Old is undeniably one of the most sought-after whiskies by collectors and enthusiasts around the globe.

This exquisite Speyside dram was matured in a carefully selected Bodega Sherry cask in 1938 for a full 70 years before being meticulously bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for eager whisky enthusiasts around the world.

Highly anticipated and finally arriving in Singapore, La Maison du Whisky Singapore is now proud to invite you to an exclusive whisky tasting and dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia’s Summer Pavilion restaurant. Prepare your senses for a culinary experience like no other.

Featuring a tasting of Mortlach 70 Year Old, this unprecedented event will be hosted by Mr Michael Urquhart, the fourth generation proprietor of independent bottler, Gordon & MacPhail. In addition to the world’s oldest whisky, the tasting will include two exceptional younger Mortlach siblings:
• Mortlach 30 yo Gordon & MacPhail
• Mortlach 50 yo / 1942 "Book of Kells" Crystal Decanter Gordon & MacPhail

With 150 years of Mortlach history to taste, this is an event no whisky lover will want to miss.
