U.S. premiere of a new work
From Montreal, Canada
Edouard Lock, artistic director
Performed with live music
If it is at all possible to set a stage on fire with lightning-fast pointe work and unbelievably quick partnering sequences, Montreal-based La La La Human Steps would be the company to do it. Edouard Lock’s latest major work is a vigorous evocation of the poignant landscape of love. Inspired by two classic love stories, Dido and Aeneas, and Orfeo and Eurydice, Lock’s powerful choreography examines human relationsships with veracity, poignant movement and sheer dynamics.
