La Cella Bella Performing March 27, 2010

Local cello quartet La Cella Bella will be performing “Pop with a Twist” at the Las Cruces Museum of Art on Saturday, March 27 at 11 am. In celebration of the “Warhol & Pop Art” exhibition, currently on display, the group will be performing pop music from the Warhol era, in their own arrangements specific for the cello. Admission to both the exhibition and performance is free of charge.

“We love La Cella Bella and are delighted to have these talented musicians performing a tribute to Warhol and the Pop Art movement at the Museum,” said Museum Manager Lisa Pugh. The last day to see the “Warhol & Pop Art” exhibition will be Saturday, April 3.
