Kyrie Fort Worth featuring Taize!! September 4, 2011

Many of you may be thinking… “what the hell is a taize service?” If this were one of my bad days I would probably tell you to just “Google it” but today is actually a good day, so I’m going to answer it a bit better than that.

Taize is a relatively new incarnation of Christian Contemplation (or meditation) that is based off of and utilizes aspects from more ancient traditions of monks and monasteries.

There is normally a lot of music, chants, interactive aspects (prayer stations, etc), silent meditation, meditation using icons… etc, and we are thrilled to be able to bring it here to Kyrie for many of you to get to experience for the first time!
