Kyle Park sings. He writes songs. He plays guitar. And his new recording — an April 2010 EP of cool, crisp country tunes, just like him — as well as forecast releases of four songs or more at a time during the coming 12 months are the foundation of a full-length album he wants his fans to help him choose the tracks on.
The Austin-born Texas artist has been writing since the release of his last album, his second, the irreverent and powerful ANYWHERE IN TEXAS, which featured a dozen songs written and co-written by Park, including “Cold in Colorado,” with its killer chorus hook; “Don’t Look,” which climbed The Texas Music Chart; a co-write with Wade Bowen, “A Woman Like You”; the hard-driving “First Day of Summer”; and the sentimental final cut, “These Days.”
RYAN BEAVER – A NEW VOICE HITS THE TEXAS MUSIC SCENE
A born and raised Texas native, Beaver has the talent and the guts to make it to the top. With a few songs sure to be hits in hand, Beaver took the leap and sent his music to award winning Lloyd Maines without any introductions or connections, just a cold call request for an opinion. After you've heard Beaver's music it comes as no surprise that Maines listened to the songs and recognized the talent behind them. With faith in his music, Maines hooked Beaver up with another esteemed Austin producer/musician, David Grissom. The result of this relationship is one remarkable debut album, "Under The Neons" which boasts contributions by some of Austin's finest players. With his new single "I Shoulda Kissed You" hitting the airwaves, it won't be long before Ryan Beaver is a household name.
