Brian Franke is an award-winning indie pop, folk-rock singer/songwriter. Originally from New Jersey, he began performing his style of lively folk-rock arrangements with colorful chord progressions and rich, raw vocals in the Washington, DC area in 2006 and began a full-time music career in 2009. Since that time he has played at Iota Club and Cafe, Washington Nationals Ballpark, and has numerous residencies in the area's music circuit. His music has drawn comparisons to Pete Yorn, Toad the Wet Sproket, Elliott Smith, and Bruce Springsteen.
His debut album 'Six Blocks Down' was released in November 2010 and, "comprises eight self-penned songs that show an artist unafraid to straddle the boundaries, at times producing a full blown rock sound on songs to sensitive balladries" (Northern Sky Magazine). On Tap Magazine noted the album, "is an accomplished slice of pop music that showcases Franke's strong and heartfelt vocals, accomplished arrangements and ability to craft a hook" (On Tap Magazine). Since its release Franke has been touring quite a bit, hitting such cities as New York, Philadelphia, and Nashville.

Dubbing the new project HATHAWAY BROWN, and naming the record "Keep Moving Forward", Randazzo has shaped an album that should not only make he and his bandmates proud, but also garner them the attention they so rightly deserve. Songs like "Frustrated" and "Tired of Waiting" call on the crunchy melodic sound fans are accustomed to from this award winning songwriter, while gems like "Now or Never", "Stutter" and "Start Again" push Randazzo's abilities into crafting timeless sounding tracks, reminiscent of a young Jackson Brown or an "A.M." Wilco.
Sometimes success comes when you least expect it; if there's any justice left in rock and roll, HATHAWAY BROWN is on its way to tasting it.
