Kurt Cline Benefit August 27, 2009

Kurt Cline had a bicycle accident a month ago that caused a C3-C4 spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis from the upper chest down. He was in ICU at St. Al's for 3 weeks. Then on July 30th he was flown to The Shepherd Center in Atlanta which is world renown for their aggressive therapy and success in returning people to rich and fulfilling lives, many of whom have regained their ability to use their arms and walk.

Kurt will be at Shepherd for a minimum of 8 weeks and will need a couple of years of intense physical therapy to gain as much recovery as possible. He is in good spirits, hopeful and has a very strong will. He has had a smile on his face every day!
