Sunday, July 19th / 2:00-4:30pm / Kundalini Yoga 101 Workshop
In this workshop for beginners and seasoned students, Stacy will break down many aspects of practicing kundalini yoga. Have your questions answered to start your practice or to take your practice to the next level. We will talk about how to sit in easy pose comfortably and how to modify to suit your needs. We will cover various breathing techniques, chanting techniqes, mudras (hand gestures), bhandas (body locks) and dristis (points of eye focus). Some yogic anatomy, such as chakras and the 10 Bodies, along with some Western Physiology as it pertains to kundalini yoga, will be talked about in order to connect your practice more fully to your body & mind. Finally we will discuss how to start an at home practice. Come prepared to learn, practice and have fun!
