A bittersweet moment for New Release: We used to do Monday nights at Nublu, spinning next to Butch Morris, The Epochs, Jason Lindner and Big Pump, Dub Trio, Si*Se, the Eyal Maoz Strings, etc. But that?s all in the past. All is not lost, though. Tonight we kick off the new night, a residency shared with Kudu, who are just amazing. To ring in the festivities, we?ve got a couple special helpers. John P from !!! is DJing, and he?s just nasty. There?s also a kid from the UK mash-up squad, the Kleptones, who?ll be doing an early set at 10p. And of course Cocoa Cracker Brown will keep it real in between all the other stuff.
