?KSD?s Chicken and Waffles? seems a good bet, a monthly sketch-comedy show taking place tonight at the Friars of Beverly Hills. Written and directed by the accomplished Kamal Symonette-Dixon (whom some have called the ?black Jim Carrey?), this evening promises a satisfying antidote to lame standup acts, with a hearty sprinkling of social and political commentary. Mix a little In Living Color with The Dave Chappelle Show and MadTV, plus a live band playing funk and hip-hop, and a DJ?ed afterparty, and you?ve got yerself a mighty good meal. 8 p.m. Free, plus no food or drink minimum! 9900 Santa Monica Blvd., Beverly Hills, (310) 553-0850, ext. 207.
