KPLU Listener Request Show June 15, 2008

In the tradition of its highly popular 'Jazz DJs' Top Choices' concerts, the SRJO asked KPLU-FM radio listeners to vote for their favorite big band pieces from the entire 100-year history of jazz. If the sheet music is unavailable, SRJO co-director Brockman transcribes the score note-for-note, from vintage recordings. You can vote on-line at KPLU.org. This event will feature eight pieces selected entirely by the listening audience at KPLU FM 88.5.
