The psychedelic, hip-hop, punk rock group known as the Kottonmouth Kings emerged from Orange County, CA, in 1994, and has been on a steady upward roll ever since. TechN9ne first became fascinated with rap in 1985. In the intervening years, Tech N9ne has had a love-hate relationship with the music business. He's recorded with such legends as 2Pac, Eminem and Roger Troutman among others, all of whom have been impressed by his dazzling lyrical skills and supreme storytelling abilities. His work has also been featured on the critically acclaimed soundtracks for 'Gang Related' and 'Thicker Than Water.' Sub Noize Souljaz combines a rotating cast of members of various Suburban Noize Records artists including the Kottonmouth Kings, Big B, Judge D, Saint Dog, Big Hoss, and OPM's Johnny Necro, with new recruits Dirtball, Just Cause, and Chucky Styles.
