Ji Yeon is a hotshot defense lawyer and single mother to seven years old girl. Her daughter gets abducted while she competes with other parents at the sport’s day. Later that day, Ji Yeon receives a phone call from the abductor, who proposes a deal. He demands that she defend a vicious rapist murderer and win an acquittal at an upcoming trial. She is given only seven days to prove his innocence. The only help around is a cop friend while a corrupt prosecuting attorney and the victim`s headstrong mother stand in her way. The surprise ending is not contrived; rather, it hits you with a deep pang as you go with the suspenseful flow of the film, piecing together fragments of the case.
