Komfort & Kare Health & Wellness Expo September 11, 2009

More than 100 Southern New Jersey healthcare organizations will provide free health screenings and education materials at the Komfort & Kare Home Medical and Mobility Health & Wellness Expo on September 11. Last year’s Expo drew over 2,000 individuals to the Cherry Hill Crowne Plaza Hotel on Route 70 (2349 West Marlton Pike)--the same location for this year’s event. The MS Society, Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, AARP and many other organizations will be providing free services between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. These will include eye and blood pressure exams, massage therapy and screenings for cholesterol, glaucoma, skin cancer, hearing, bone density, balance, blood sugar, and more. Additionally, flu shots will be available for the first time this year.

Each year Komfort & Kare, based in Westmont, also offers a drawing in which two visitors win a free seat lift chair or scooter. Attendees will receive additional giveaways from exhibitors along with complimentary food for all. A free reference book containing county services, first aid tips, and additional healthcare information will be given to each attendee.
