Featuring Performances by Cliff Beach, Jessie Payo, Terry Ilous of XYZ and LiLA

Koffeehouse Music Productions and American performing rights organization, BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) present Koffeehouse Sessions, the Westside's number one musician's showcase on Thursday, August 5, 2010 featuring talented artists Cliff Beach, the uber-talented singer, songwriter, actress and dancer Jessie Payo , Terry Ilous, lead singer of the popular rock band XYZ and local Indie rockers LiLA (Lost in Los Angeles).

Koffeehouse Sessions features the best in emerging bands and singer/songwriters the first Thursday of every month at Harvelle's in Santa Monica. Tickets are $10.00 and doors open at 6:30PM. A Koffeehouse open mic and jam session will take place from 6:30PM-8:00PM. To sign up for the open mic in advance, email chris@koffeehouse.com. Slots for the open mic will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Harvelle's is located at 1432 4th Street in Santa Monica, CA. To reserve a table, call (310) 395-1676.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

8:30PM CLIFF BEACH (www.myspace.com/cbeach3)
Cliff Beach has been playing and recording music for over the last 10 years. As a vocal performance graduate from Berklee College of Music, he has traveled the world, entertaining for Holland America Cruise Lines, and has toured extensively with his former band "The Moon Crickets" releasing 2 independent albums, the self-titled "The Moon Crickets LP" and "Live at Universal City Walk". In The Moon Crickets Band Cliff was the lead singer/band leader and songwriter for the groups material. Cliff Beach has moved on to his own solo project, with a residency at Room 5 in Hollywood for PRG's Acoustically Speaking and also sings and plays keyboards for his new band " The Cliff Beach Experience". Cliff can be seen in numerous shows around Los Angeles, he is a member of BMI, and thanks Koffeehouse for their support.

Jessie Payo is a quadruple threat: singer, songwriter, actress and dancer - she's emerging as one of the most gifted artists in the modern music scene. Having just launched her solo career, Ms. Payo is proving to be a sweet-sounding force to be reckoned with. Known for her brilliant vocal ability and poetic songwriting savvy, she can write and wail everything from Top-40 Pop to gritty rock and roll. She's proof that incredible things can come in adorably small packages.

Jessie's opened for The Black Eyed Peas, Jason Mraz, Lauryn Hill, Lupe Fiasco, Etta James, and Boyz II Men. And her music has appeared on MTV's hit series' "The Hills", "The City", "My Super Sweet Sixteen", ABC's "Make it or Break it", FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance", CBS's "Criminal Minds", E!'s "The Daily Ten", and Disney Channel's "Halloween Town High". Jessie also received a Gold Record for her performance on Disney's "Jump In" soundtrack.

Most recently, Jessie wrote and performed as the lead singer of the pop-duo JUPITER RISING, where she toured across the country headlining clubs and other renowned venues. Their hit song "Electropop" received over a million plays on MySpace and has been heard on radio stations around the world.

Terry Ilous was born the son of a French mother and a Spanish father, in France. His father, who played guitar, imbued Terry with the love of music he nurtures to this day. He settled in Los Angeles, and then became the lead singer for XYZ, a melodic metal rock band that was promptly signed with Capitol Records to enormous fanfare. With XYZ, he toured the world in the early 1990's and sold over 2 Million CDs worldwide. He has worked with members of such diverse bands as Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Whitesnake, Stevie Wonder, AC/DC, Mariah Carey, Guns and Roses, Rod Stewart, David Bowie and many others. Terry has appeared on soap operas (NBC's Passions), television commercials and is actively participating in the Voice-Over field (Rug Rats, Stuart Little 2,XBOX 2,Sega) and singing jingles, Dr Pepper, Intel, Ebay, Levy's, Wrigley's,Taco Bell, Microsoft )
He is also a renowned songwriter and has written and published over 300 songs for other artists, films and TV.
