As The Planets pass in splendor, you'll hear the martial rhythms of Mars, Bringer of War; serene Venus, the Bringer of Peace; and Neptune, the Mystic whose haunting sonorities fade to eerie silence. Hailed for his opera Dead Man Walking, Jake Heggie was moved by the events of 9/11 to compose his lyrical Epic for Cello for Miland. Like journeys inward and outward, these works invite you to search and understand.
