Join us in welcoming to central Maine some of the worlds most accomplished and innovative guitar players. In just five short years, Guitarfest has presented masters of the instrument - G.E. Smith, Ed Gerhard, Duke Robillard, and many others - in performance and workshop settings.The 6th annual edition of this stalwart of Maines cultural calendar features the return of last years host: Muriel Anderson. Andersons style includes folk, classical, jazz, bluegrass, and international music. She has been composing since age six, has published works for guitar and orchestra, voice, and solo guitar, and is eagerly anticipating her return to the Opera House.
