The Tigard Library has formed a knitting group. Its first meeting will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participants can learn how to knit or crochet, work on unfinished projects or start new ones. The group welcomes all skill levels. The Library encourages experienced needle workers to share their knitting and/or crocheting knowledge with others.
At the kickoff, Library staff member Shela Perrin will talk about her favorite knitting and crochet books available at the Library. Group members will learn what is new in the world of yarn projects.
The group will meet on the first and third Saturdays of the month in the Grace Tigard Houghton Room. New members are always welcome.
