Knitting Class - Un-Knitting March 27, 2009

Learn to safely undo your knitting and fix your mistakes!
Put an end to the panic of dropping a stitch, messing up the pattern, or having to start your piece all over again because of one little boo-boo. Arm yourself with simple techniques for getting back on the right track.

What you should know:
You should be familiar with the knit and purl stitches. No additional experience necessary.

Materials:
Please bring in a knitted Stockinette Stitch swatch, with live stitches still on the needle.
To make the swatch:
Using basic worsted weight yarn, cast on 20 stitches.
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: Purl.
Repeat these 2 rows until the swatch measures about 4″. Leave all stitches on the needle, and bring to class.
