Knitting Class - Knit a Striped Hat March 8, 2009

Learn to knit a striped hat in the round, using circular and double-pointed needles.

What you should know:
You should be familiar with the knit and purl stitches. No additional experience necessary.

Materials:
You will need about 150 yards of heavy worsted weight yarn (100 yards of the main color, and 50 yards of the striping color), 1 circular needle size US 8 (5mm), 16″ in length, a set of double-pointed needles in the same size, and a darning needle.
These can be provided for you for an additional $25.00 (you can choose your color), or you can bring your own.
