The Dunham Bible Museum will draw from its extensive collection of rare Bibles to honor the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible. This commemorative exhibition tells the story of the influential Bible translation, tracing its historical, political and religious roots and its widespread influence around the globe. On display are the earliest 16th century printings of the English Bible, 17th and early 18th century editions of the King James Version, including an original 1611 edition, as well as more recent translations that it influenced.
